  • If you are at home, it will activate your in-home Communicator and place a call to our Response Center.
  • If you are not in range of your in-home Communicator, your Mobile Help Button leverages the AT&T Wireless Network and places a call to our Response Center.
  • The GoSafe pendant can automatically call our Response Center for help if a fall is detected and you are unable to push your Mobile Help Button.

GoSafe Help Button & Charger

The GoSafe Help Button and Charger are designed to make accessing help simple and effective.

Wear the GoSafe Help Button around your neck as an adjustable pendant both inside and outside the home for access to help when you need it! The GoSafe Help Button can automatically place a call for help if a fall is detected and you are unable to push your Help Button. AutoAlert is the most widely adopted fall detection technology in the U.S. medical alert market today. It detects greater than 95% of falls.

    1. Two-Way Voice: The pendant has a built-in speaker and microphone so you can talk with our Response Center or Emergency Services hands-free, directly through the pendant, and provide location information.
    2. Global Positioning System (GPS): Satellite navigation technology can locate you whenever there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites.
    3. Intelligent Tracking: When you move, this technology uses the path you take to leave a trail. This path can then be accessed by our Response Center in the event that your last-known location is helpful.
    4. WiFi: This technology utilizes a growing database of WIFI hotspots to locate you, particularly if you're indoors.
    5. Audio Beacon: Feel confident even in remote areas. The Mobile Help Button comes with an alarm that can be activated by our call center so audible "you’re getting closer!" information can be heard by first responders.
    6. At Home: If you are within range of your home Communicator, we'll know that you are either at home or very close to home.
  • Smart Auto-Switching Pendant: Automatically switches from Communicator mode to Cellular mode when you leave the house. Requires no user intervention or changes. This feature also conserves power, optimizing performance for when you're away from home.
  • Easily Accessible: Since you can wear your Help Button 24/7 around your neck, unlike a cell phone, it should always be easily within reach.
  • Light Communicators: The Button has orange and green lights that tell you when your Button needs charging and when the charge is complete.
  • Airplane Mode: The Button can be put in airplane mode for when you travel by plane.

When you press your GoSafe Help Button in range of a Communicator, the Communicator dials our Response Center. Key features of the GoSafe Communicator include:

  • Quick Dialing: When you press your Help Button, it dials our Response Center to get you 24/7 access to help.
  • Sensitive: Voice amplification on the Communicator's speakerphone allows you to hear conversations more easily, and for our Response Center to hear you from almost anywhere in your home.
  • Easy to Install: When you plug it in and press the gray Help Button, the Communicator will walk you through the process of installing your service at home. A Quick Start Guide is also provided and available for additional help. Professional Installation service available too for a fee.
  • Signal Strength Light: So you can find ideal places in your home in which to plug the Communicator.
  • Up to 30 Hours Battery Backup: So you can have power even during power outages.
  • Automatic Self-Testing: The Communicator conducts regular status checks to confirm proper operation. Have confidence knowing your system can alert Lifeline in the event system maintenance is required.
Response center

Lifeline subscribers have 24/7 access to our fully-owned U.S.-based Response Center. Our Associates are meticulously trained to professionally, courteously and sensitively serve you. Unlike some other companies, we do NOT outsource this privilege and responsibility.

When you sign up for service, you share with Lifeline the contact information of the people you would like to help you in the event of a medical event or other emergency. Press your Help Button and our Response Associates access your profile, and contact the people you’ve identified, and emergency personnel as appropriate, to get you the help you want.

Response center

vBased on the number of detected falls that have been reported to Phlips Lifeline by U.S AutoAlert subscribers for the period of January 2012 through July 2012. Undetectable falls can include a gradual slide from a seated position – such as from a wheelchair – which may not register as a fall.
